For Jehovah’s Witnesses, Brooklyn Heights holds a unique place in history as the international headquarters of the Witnesses for more than a century. On this walking tour, we’ll explore the former Watchtower buildings, residences tied to Bethel life, and the streets where this global history unfolded.
Along the way, you’ll also discover the broader story of Brooklyn Heights, its architecture, community landmarks, and cultural legacy, while connecting it to a meaningful spiritual heritage.
Led by a licensed New York City guide who called Brooklyn Heights home for almost 20 years, this tour blends history, faith, and personal memories for an insider’s look at one of New York’s most iconic neighborhoods.

Subway Options:
2 / 3 / R trains → Exit at Court Street station. Walk 1–2 minutes to Borough Hall.
4 / 5 trains → Exit at Borough Hall station. The fountain will be right in front as you come out or just around the corner.
Landmark Tip: The fountain is situated directly in front of Borough Hall, a large historic building featuring columns and a clock tower.

Wear comfortable shoes – this is a walking tour through historic streets with some cobblestones and inclines.
Tour length – approx. 2 hours. Plan a little extra time if you’d like to explore DUMBO or the Promenade afterward.
Weather-ready – tours run rain or shine, so bring an umbrella or sun hat depending on the forecast.
Restrooms – public restrooms are limited; I’ll point out options along the way.
Photos welcome – feel free to take pictures of landmarks and skyline views, but please respect residential privacy.
End point – tour finishes near DUMBO, with easy subway access back to Manhattan or elsewhere in Brooklyn.
Small group style – expect a conversational pace, with time for questions and sharing reflections.
